Happy Halloween 2008

All ready to go - Logan was Tony Stewart and Lauren was a tutu princess!! Our evening started with a yummy pizza dinner with Bryce! YUM YUM!
Here is Lauren at a house - she said "treat" instead of trick or treat. She knew what she wanted, no tricks for her!!

Lauren carried her flashlight and her treat bucket with her at all times! We took the wagon, but she wanted to walk most of the time - trying to keep up with bubba!!
Happy Fall Ya'll!!
We are looking forward to Thanksgiving!!

Sep/Oct - how times flies when you are having fun!!!

Here's Lauren waiting for Aunt Staci to arrive for her Birthday lunch. Happy Birthday Aunt Staci - we love you very much!

We went to a charity event in Roanoke benefiting children with cancer - we went with The Stampley's and had lots of fun.

Logan and Emma got a tour of a firetruck!

This hat is heavy!

We went and watched Drew at his baseball game - of course Logan had to run the bases at the end and pose in a batting position. Good job Drew - we are proud of you!

We enjoyed a Sunday afternoon at the pumpkin patch with
Alyssa, Drew, Aunt Staci, Nana and Nannybug.

My little pumpkin cutie!

I love this picture of Logan and Drew - just 2 boys watching the duck swim by!

Lauren's school had a festival, so Logan and Emma got all dressed up for the occasion.
They are getting so big! Best buds!

Lauren's favorite of the night was the petting zoo and pony rides. She probably would stayed in here all night if we would have let her. Forget the bounce houses and candy, she wanted those animals!!!

Here is a picture of Logan's new buddy Logan W.! Double trouble!! They have really formed a great friendship and we discovered they live on the street behind us!
Double cuties!!

Logan and Logan were playing football in the backyard and sister sue had to play too. She really thoght she needed a helmet too, all we could find was a batting helmet turned around backwards! She didn't care!!

Lauren is quite the shoe princess - absolutely loves them, it's scarry!! Here she is in her new boots. She wore them all day and even went in her room that night and put them on with pj's. I regret not getting a picture of that!!

We have had lots of fun weekends with family and friends! We love you all.

No more training wheels!!

After alot of practice and patience from Daddy,
Logan can successfully ride his bike without training wheels.

GO LOGAN!!!

Lauren~~18 months old!!

Busy, busy, busy. It has weeks since I have posted here. Lots of new and exciting things to tell you all about! Lauren is 18 months old and I can't believe how much she has grown. She started Mother's Day Out and loved it the first week, the second week was a little harder and hopefully this week she will do better!

We have been going to The Little Gym alot lately for Birthday parties and Lauren loves to play on all of the equiptment. Her favorite thing to do is hang from the bar. And of course, catching bubbles!!

This was the night of Lauren's meet the teacher.

This was her first big day - This is Ms. Erin. Lauren got right down and went to her great. There were no tears shed the first day!
She is pretty much potty trained and will tell you now when she has to go! She talks more and more everyday and is very smart, she also loves shoes! She loves to watch Barney on her "napmat" and still misses Logan everyday while he is at school.
She has blessed our family and makes us smile all day long.

First day of Kindergarten.

Tears filled my eyes as we rounded the corner and saw all the kids with their parents, the school buses, the flag, the new shoes and backpacks. I quickly had to hide those tears and say goodbye to my sweet Logan. He was very brave and sweet. He looked so little and so big all at the same time. I can't believe this day has finally come and what a great day it was.

So let's skip back a few days. Last week was meet the teacher. Logans teachers name is Mrs. Tolbert and she seems very sweet. This was the first meeting. Only in Texas would the principal ride up on a longhorn!
Here's Logan on the first day ready to go.
We are so fortunate to be walking distance to the new school.

Here's Logan sitting at his desk, he was all smiles!!

Lauren wasn't too sure about Logan being gone and kept asking me all day - Bubba? I'd say, he's at school and she'd simply say Oh! She was so excited to pick him up and they hugged and kissed like they had been apart for several days!

What a great day - Logan came home singing new songs and telling us all about his day, new friends, lunchtime and recess!! Logan is quite excited to go back and already has his outfits picked out for the next 2 days!!!!

Happy Birthday Kristi!!

We celebrated my Birthday at The Cheesecake Factory with all the little bunnies! We had a wonderful lunch - thank you all for all of the wonderful gifts and for being together!

I love you sistah and NannyBug!

I love this picture below - this was too cute not to post!! Check out her tan lines!!!
She is a little bahama mama!!
Terry took me to Playa del Carmen for my birthday - we had such a wonderful time and my little pumpkins were in great hands with Nana and "Batball" (Pappaw). I missed them alot but enjoyed the much needed time with Terry. Here we are after landing in Mexico and getting on the shuttle bus to take us to our hotel - we look tired!!
We enjoyed the sun after the rain the first day. We went on a snuba trip - cross between snorkel and scuba diving. Terry loved it and is ready to get his dive certificate. I prefer the pool or beach. It was an adventure and I'm glad we went - I'll post those pics when I get them.

This is where we spent most of our time!!

The hotel was beautiful. It had a canal that ran through the middle with really neat shopping and lots of good food.

We had breakfast on the beach and then layed in hammocks - that is what I call a great day!!

We had an amazing time and appreciate everyone that helped take care of our kids and Mollie!!

I love you honey - thank you for making my birthday one to remember.
